The record for an e-Book reader (that is, the physical equipment) will be entered in the MARC format for visual materials (VM).
The record must have these fixed field element values:
- Rec_Type:
r(three-dimensional object) - Bib_Lvl:
m(issued as a single item) - Type:
r(three-dimensional object)
The General Material Designation (GMD) for e-Book readers in CCS is [electronic equipment]
