If your library withdraws the last local copy of a serial with a MARC Holdings and/or serial control record:
- Remove your library's serial control record, if one is present.
- If you do not do this, then the library with the last system copy will be unable to withdraw their item!
- Delete your library's 599 field from the catalog record. (Look for the field that contains the policy number listed for your library on the Library codes page.)
- Remove your library's MARC Holdings record.
- Remove your library's Local Holdings Record (LHR) from OCLC via the Connexion Browser. See Deleting local holdings records from WorldCat for details on that process.
