Add this template at the top of a page that represents an obsolete practice that is important enough--typically due to the frequency with which one will still find records in the local database that follow it--to maintain for historical reference.
In addition to inserting a warning box, it also automatically adds the page to the [[:Category:Obsolete practices|Obsolete practices]] category.

DO NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES.
The rules on this page have been abolished or are obsolete, but are kept in the manual for historical purposes.

Usage

Add this template at the top of a page that represents an obsolete practice that is important enough--typically due to the frequency with which one will still find records in the local database that follow it--to maintain for historical reference.

In addition to inserting a warning box, it also automatically adds the page to the Obsolete practices category.

Use the Obsoletebox template instead for highlighting a specific section within a page that is obsolete.
