If your library withdraws the last local copy of a serial with a MARC Holdings record:

  • Remove your library's serial control record, if one is present.
  • If you do not do this, then the library with the last system copy will be unable to withdraw their item!
  • Delete your library's 599 field from the catalog record.
  • Remove your library's MARC Holdings record.
  • Remove your library's Local Holdings Record (LHR) from OCLC via the Connexion Browser.
