Always use one the following qualified GMDs for videorecordings in the CCS catalog.

As of February 11, 2015, this change has been approved in concept by the SCRAP committee, but the exact wording is still being adjusted.
Please follow the changed rule(s). Please send any feedback to SCRAP.

Always use one the following qualified GMDs for videorecordings in the CCS catalog, except do not add a GMD to records for DVDs or Blu-rays that are cataloged according to RDA.[1] Note that CCS local practice is different from AACR2R 1.1C1.

When adding a GMD qualifier in records with non-Latin text in 880 fields, be sure to edit the GMD field in the corresponding 880 field, too.
