As of April 8, 2015, the rules on this page have been approved in concept by the SCRAP committee, but the exact wording is still being adjusted.

For videorecordings cataloged according to AACR2, use one the following GMDs in the CCS catalog. Do not add a GMD to records for DVDs or Blu-rays that are cataloged according to RDA.[1]

[videorecording (Blu-ray)]
[videorecording (Blu-ray 3D)]
[videorecording (Blu-ray + DVD)]
[videorecording (HD-DVD)]
[electronic resource (eVideo)]
